My name is Michael Garner Wisland. My father's name was Richard Pennock Wisland. I know my grandmother's father was Homer Pennock, and his father likely Joseph Pennock. My father's uncle was Arthur Pennock a woodcarver who worked for Henry Ford. I have photos of some miniatures he made of Thomas Edison's home, Ford's best friend. My father said Herb Pennock, the famous baseball pitcher was his great Uncle or some relative up the line. I need help linking that tree. Herb traces back to a Joseph Pennock, so likely the connection. This site was an unexpected discovery after I bought the book on Herb Pennock, mentioning Christopher Pennock imigrated from Ireland. That's all I know for sure.
