Our Dalton Branch starts with James Dalton (b29 Nov 1790) on Carrick-on-Suir, Tipperary. He married Ellen Conners (b17 March 1795) from Clonmel, Waterford, Ireland. Our ancestors came to Valcourt, Quebec. An example of our Canadian Daltons is Thomas (b1811 d1875). He married Mary Longan in 1840 in Ireland. Mary was born between 1816 and 1821 in Ireland and died in 1875 in Canada. We are anxious to hear any information about these Daltons.

I'm Brandon Dalton. Son of Terry Lee Dalton. One of three sons of Floyd Dalton. Born of a Ms. Rose Dalton of Inez, KY (Appalachian Kentucky ~45m S of Ashland) near Kermit WV. All, sadly, have passed except for me. Curious to learn more about where we came from, with certainty, so that I may help preserve the family history with my children and their stories. My anscestor Anna Dalton came to the United States in 1750 as an indentured servent, she had a son Henry out of wedlock and was sent away to Virginia. Her son remained as an indentured servent until his 30โs then settled in clinton furnace, WV.(Morgantown) we are trying to find out where in Ireland she came from.
